3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your LUXRITE LED Emergency Ceiling Light:
- Turn off Power: Ensure power to the installation area is completely disconnected at the circuit breaker.
- Prepare Fixture: Loosen the screws on the side of the fixture and carefully remove the cover to access the internal wiring and mounting points.
- Mounting: Securely install the fixture to a standard junction box using appropriate screws.
- Wiring: Connect the fixture's wires to the building's electrical supply wires (Black to Live, White to Neutral, Green/Bare to Ground). This fixture supports 120-277V input. Ensure all connections are secure with wire nuts.
- Select Color Temperature: Before reattaching the cover, locate the CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) selection switch inside the fixture. Choose your desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K) by sliding the switch.
- Reassemble: Carefully place the cover back onto the fixture and tighten the screws to secure it.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

4. Operating Instructions
Your LUXRITE LED Emergency Ceiling Light offers versatile operation modes:
- Standard Operation: When connected to continuous power, the light functions as a regular dimmable LED ceiling fixture.
- Color Temperature Selection: The CCT switch inside the fixture allows you to choose between 2700K (Warm White), 3000K (Soft White), 3500K (Natural White), 4000K (Cool White), and 5000K (Bright White). This setting is made during installation.
- Dimmable Function: This fixture is compatible with most standard LED dimmers, allowing you to adjust the light output from 100% down to 10%. Ensure your dimmer is compatible for optimal performance.
- Emergency Mode: In the event of a power failure, the pre-installed battery backup will automatically activate, providing up to 90 minutes of emergency lighting. The light will operate at a reduced lumen output (approximately 500 lumens) during emergency mode.
- Battery Test Button: A small red test button is located on the side of the fixture. Press and hold this button to simulate a power outage and verify the emergency battery backup is functioning correctly. A green indicator light will show the charging status.

5. Maintenance
This LED fixture is designed for long-lasting, low-maintenance operation. The integrated LED components have a rated lifetime of 50,000 hours.
- Cleaning: Ensure power is off before cleaning. Wipe the fixture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Battery Maintenance: The emergency battery backup automatically recharges when power is restored. Regular testing (monthly) using the test button is recommended to ensure the battery is functioning correctly.

6. Troubleshooting
