3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the flashlight. The device is equipped with a built-in rechargeable polymer lithium battery.

  1. Locate the Type-C charging port on the flashlight.
  2. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the flashlight and the other end to a compatible USB power source (e.g., power bank, laptop, wall adapter).
  3. Charging typically takes approximately 2.5 hours for a full charge. The indicator light will change to show charging status (refer to device for specific indicator behavior).

4. Operating Instructions

The FTOYIN FT-FL-2 features two main control buttons for operating the main and side lights.

4.1 Main Light Operation

The main light offers five modes:

  • Extremely Bright: For maximum illumination.
  • High: Strong illumination for general use.
  • Medium: Balanced brightness and battery life.
  • Low: For close-range tasks or extended battery life.
  • Energy Saving: Lowest brightness for minimal power consumption.

Controls:

  • Turn On/Off: Double click the main light switch to turn on. Click to cycle through High, Medium, Low, Energy Saving modes. Long press to turn off.
  • Extremely Bright Mode: Long press the main light switch from any state to activate. Release to turn off.

4.2 Side Light Operation

The side light offers five modes:

  • White: General auxiliary lighting.
  • UV (365nm): For banknote verification or detecting fluorescent materials.
  • Red: Preserves night vision, useful for signaling.
  • Red Strobe: For emergency signaling.
  • Red Blue Strobe: For emergency or warning purposes.

Controls:
