3.1 Initial Setup & App Download

Before using your DEKCO DC6L camera, ensure it is fully charged using the provided USB cable. Download the 'CloudEdge' app from your iOS App Store or Google Play. Follow the in-app instructions to register an account and log in.

3.2 Wi-Fi Connection

The DEKCO DC6L camera is compatible only with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. It does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi. Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during the setup process.

1. Open the CloudEdge app and click "Add Device".
2. Select "Battery Camera" from the device list.
3. Press and hold the power button on the camera for 5 seconds until the indicator light turns red.
4. Press and hold the "RST" (Reset) button for 5 seconds until the indicator flashes red and you hear a prompt sound.
5. In the app, select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
6. The app will generate a QR code. Position your phone 5-8 inches (15-20cm) in front of the camera lens to scan the QR code.
7. Wait for the camera's red indicator light to turn blue, indicating a successful connection.

3.3 Physical Installation

Choose a suitable location with good Wi-Fi signal strength. The recommended installation height is 7-10 feet (2-3 meters) to optimize motion detection coverage up to 30 feet (10 meters).

1. Use the provided positioning sticker to mark the drill holes on your desired installation surface.
2. Drill holes using an appropriate drill bit (e.g., 6mm).
3. Insert the wall anchors into the drilled holes.
4. Fit the mounting bracket over the holes and use a screwdriver to tighten the screws, securing the bracket to the wall.
5. Attach the camera to the bracket and tighten it securely.
6. Manually adjust the camera's angle to achieve the desired field of view.

4. Operating Your Camera

4.1 1080P FHD Video & Night Vision

The DEKCO DC6L provides clear 1080P Full HD video. It supports three night vision modes: infrared mode for black and white vision, full-color mode (utilizing the built-in spotlight), and alarm mode which triggers the spotlight upon detection.
