1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

5. Setup and First Use

Before using your rice cooker for the first time, follow these steps:

  1. Remove all packaging materials and labels.
  2. Wash the inner pot, steam insert, rice spoon, and measuring cup with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  4. For optimal cooking results and to remove any manufacturing residues, add clean water to the inner pot and bring it to a boil using the 'Cook' function. Once boiled, discard the water.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Cooking Rice

  1. Measure the desired amount of rice using the provided measuring cup. One measuring cup typically yields two cups of cooked rice.
  2. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  3. Place the rinsed rice into the non-stick inner pot.
  4. Add the appropriate amount of water. Refer to the water level markings inside the inner pot for guidance. For example, for 2 cups of uncooked rice, fill water to the '2' mark. Adjust water quantity based on rice type and desired consistency.
  5. Ensure the outer surface of the inner pot is dry, then place it into the main unit.
  6. Close the lid securely.
  7. Plug the power cord into a wall outlet. The 'Warm' indicator light will illuminate.
  8. Press the 'Cook' lever down. The 'Cook' indicator light will turn on, and cooking will begin.
  9. Once cooking is complete, the lever will automatically switch up, and the cooker will enter 'Warm' mode. The 'Warm' indicator light will illuminate.
  10. Allow the rice to rest in 'Warm' mode for 5-10 minutes before serving for best results.
  11. Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet when finished.

6.2. Steaming Food

The steam insert allows you to steam vegetables, seafood, or other items while cooking rice or separately.

  1. Add the appropriate amount of water to the inner pot (typically 1-2 cups for steaming).

6.3. Keep Warm Function

7. Maintenance and Cleaning
