Using the Milk Frother
- Fill a metal frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy). Do not fill more than one-third full.
- Position the steam wand into the milk, just below the surface.
- Turn the steam control knob to activate the frother.
- Move the pitcher slowly up and down to create foam. Once desired foam is achieved, turn off the steam.

Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your espresso machine.
- Drip Tray: Empty and clean the removable drip tray daily with warm, soapy water.
- Portafilter and Filter Baskets: After each use, remove and rinse the portafilter and filter baskets under warm water. For thorough cleaning, use a small brush to remove any coffee residue. These parts are dishwasher-safe.
- Steam Wand: Immediately after frothing milk, wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to prevent milk from drying and clogging. Periodically, purge the steam wand by briefly activating the steam function into an empty cup.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the machine in water.
Descaling
Over time, mineral deposits can build up in the machine, affecting performance. Descale your machine regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use (e.g., every 2-3 months).
- Prepare a descaling solution according to the descaler product instructions (or use a mixture of white vinegar and water).
- Fill the water reservoir with the descaling solution.
- Place a large container under the brew head and steam wand.
- Run several brewing cycles (without coffee) and activate the steam wand to allow the solution to flow through all parts of the machine.
- Rinse the reservoir and fill with fresh water. Run several cycles with fresh water to flush out any remaining descaling solution.

| Espresso brews too quickly. | Coffee grounds too coarse or not tamped enough. | Use finer grind or tamp more firmly. |
| Milk frother not producing steam. | Steam wand clogged; machine not heated to steam temperature. | Clean steam wand; wait for steam indicator light. |
