3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to correctly set up your Fluance Ai81 speakers and DB10 subwoofer for optimal audio performance.

3.1 Remote Control Battery Installation:

1. Locate the CR2032 battery and the remote control from the accessory box.
2. Open the battery compartment on the remote control.
3. Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
4. Close the battery compartment securely.

3.2 Speaker Wire Connection:

1. Unthread the binding posts on the back of both the active and passive speakers until the hole in the post is exposed.
2. Insert the speaker wire into the exposed hole. Ensure that the conductive part of the wire makes contact, not the insulation jacket. If needed, strip more insulation from the wire.
3. Tighten the binding post cap.
4. Connect red to red and black to black binding posts on both speakers to maintain correct polarity.

3.3 Power Connection:

1. Plug the 6ft power cable into the back panel of the active Ai81 speaker and the other end into a wall outlet.
2. Press the power switch on the back of the active speaker to turn it on. The speaker will start in standby mode (indicated by a red LED).
3. Plug the 5.33ft power cable into the DB10 subwoofer and then into a wall outlet.
