3. Setup
3.1 Unboxing
Upon opening the package, ensure the following items are present:
- Saregama Carvaan Mini 2.0 Ganesh Main Unit
- Charging Cable (compatible with any Android device charger)
3.2 Initial Charge
Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided charging cable to the micro USB charging port on the rear of the unit (refer to Figure 2.5) and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
To power on the device, press and hold the Power Button (refer to Figure 2.4) for a few seconds until the unit powers on. To power off, press and hold the same button until the unit shuts down.
4.2 Mode Selection
Use the mode buttons on the side of the device (refer to Figure 2.2) to switch between different playback modes:
- Saregama Button: Press to play the pre-loaded collection of 300 Ganesh mantras, poojas, bhajans, kathas, and aartis.
- FM/AM Button: Press to switch to FM or AM radio mode. Extend the antenna (refer to Figure 2.5) for better reception. The device will automatically scan and play available stations.
- Bluetooth Button: Press to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The device will become discoverable to other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
4.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- Press the Bluetooth Button on the Carvaan Mini.
- On your smartphone or other Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Carvaan Mini" from the list of devices to pair. Once paired, you can stream audio from your device to the Carvaan Mini.
4.4 USB Playback
Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB Port on the rear of the unit (refer to Figure 2.5). The device will automatically detect and begin playing the audio files.
4.5 AUX Input
Connect an external audio source (e.g., smartphone, tablet) to the AUX IN Port on the rear of the unit (refer to Figure 2.5) using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). The device will automatically switch to AUX input mode and play audio from the connected source.
4.6 AUX Output
Connect headphones or external speakers to the AUX OUT Port on the side of the unit (refer to Figure 2.3) using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) for private listening or enhanced sound.
4.7 Volume Control and Track Navigation
Use the + and - buttons (refer to Figure 2.4) to adjust the volume. Use the Previous Song and Next Song buttons (refer to Figure 2.4) to skip tracks in Saregama, Bluetooth, or USB modes.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
- Water Resistance: This device is not water resistant. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity.
6. Troubleshooting
