The SONICAKE Wireless Lavalier Microphone System consists of a transmitter (TX) and a receiver (RX) unit. Both units are compact and lightweight, designed for ease of use and portability.

4. Setup and Connection

4.1. Initial Pairing

The transmitter and receiver units are designed to pair automatically upon power-on. Simply turn on both the transmitter and receiver. They should connect within 2-3 seconds. If they do not connect automatically, hold the transmitter's mute button and the receiver's volume button simultaneously until the connection status indicator flashes, indicating successful pairing.

4.2. Connecting to Devices

Use the provided TRS-TRS audio cables to connect the receiver to your recording device. The system is compatible with DSLR cameras, camcorders, smartphones (iPhone/Android), and computers.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the On/Off button on both the transmitter and receiver units to power them on or off.

5.2. Muting

On the transmitter, press the mute button once to mute the microphone. Press it again to unmute.

5.3. High-Pass Filter

The transmitter features a high-pass filter to reduce unwanted low-frequency noise (e.g., wind noise, rumble). Activate or deactivate this feature using the dedicated button.

5.4. Volume Control

Adjust the microphone input volume on the transmitter using the volume button to optimize audio levels for your recording device.

5.5. Battery Status Indicator

To check the power status, briefly press the On/Off button. The white power indicator light will blink: one blink indicates 25% remaining battery, two blinks 50%, three blinks 75%, and four blinks indicate a full charge.

The system incorporates professional noise-canceling technology and includes a wind muff to ensure clear and natural audio performance, especially outdoors.

6. Charging

Both the transmitter and receiver units are equipped with built-in 650 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. A full charge provides approximately 10 hours of working time.

Use the included 2-in-1 Type C USB cable to charge both the transmitter and receiver simultaneously. A full charge typically takes about 3 hours.
