3. Setup and Installation

Safety First: Before beginning any electrical installation, ensure the main power supply to the circuit is turned off at the circuit breaker. Failure to do so can result in electric shock or damage to the device.

Wiring Instructions

The ZBMINIL2 supports both single-pole and 2-way switch configurations. Refer to the diagrams below for correct wiring.

Installation Steps

4. Operating Instructions

• Manual Control: The ZBMINIL2 can be controlled directly by pressing the connected physical wall switch. The switch type (rocker or push-button) can be configured by pressing the button on the ZBMINIL2 module 3 times quickly until the green LED flashes 3 times.
• App Control: Once paired, open the eWeLink App. You can toggle the switch on/off, set timers (countdown, loop), and create smart scenes to automate lighting based on schedules or other device triggers.
• Voice Control: Integrate the ZBMINIL2 with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or SmartThings. Use voice commands such as "Alexa, turn on the living room light" or "Hey Google, turn off the bedroom light" to control your connected devices.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6. Troubleshooting

Device Not Pairing

• Ensure the device is powered on and the green LED is flashing slowly (pairing mode). If not, power cycle the device.
• Verify your Zigbee hub is powered on and within range.
• Check your Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz is required for the hub, though ZBMINIL2 uses Zigbee). Ensure strong signal.
• Try resetting the device to factory settings (refer to the eWeLink app or product support for specific reset instructions).

Device Not Responding

• Check power supply to the ZBMINIL2.
• Verify Zigbee network connectivity. If the hub is offline, the switch may not respond to app commands but should still respond to the physical switch.
