Setup

2. Z-Wave Network Pairing
The Minoston MP22ZD supports SmartStart and S2 security for easy and secure pairing.
SmartStart Inclusion:
- Power on the Z-Wave device.
- Open your Z-Wave hub's app and select the option to add a new device (SmartStart).
- Scan the QR code located on the device or its packaging.
- The device should automatically join your Z-Wave network within 10 minutes of being powered on and within range of your hub.
Manual Inclusion (Classic Inclusion):
- Place your Z-Wave hub into inclusion/pairing mode. Refer to your hub's instruction manual for specific steps.
- Press the local button on the Minoston dimmer plug three times quickly.
- The device will attempt to pair with the hub. Once successfully paired, the indicator light on the dimmer may change or your hub will confirm.
3. S2 Security and SmartStart

Operating Instructions
1. Dimming and Voice Control
Once paired with a compatible Z-Wave hub and integrated with voice assistants like Alexa or Google Assistant, you can control the brightness of connected dimmable lights from 0-100%.
- Voice Commands: Use commands such as "Hey Alexa, set the outdoor lights to 75%" or "Hey Google, dim the patio lights to 50%".
- Manual Control: The local button on the dimmer can be used for basic on/off control.
2. Remote Control and Scheduling
Utilize your Z-Wave hub's application to remotely control the dimmer and set up automated schedules.
- Remote On/Off/Dim: Control the connected device from anywhere using your smart home app.
- Scheduling: Create custom schedules to automatically turn the dimmer on or off at specific times, or based on sunrise/sunset.
