1. Unpacking and Inspection

2. Adding Engine Oil

The generator is shipped without engine oil. Before first use, add the recommended type and amount of oil. Refer to the specifications section for oil type and capacity.

  1. Place the generator on a level surface.
  2. Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick.
  3. Using the provided oil funnel, slowly add the correct amount of oil until it reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
  4. Securely replace the oil fill cap/dipstick.

3. Adding Fuel

Use only fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Do not use E85 or any other fuel containing more than 10% ethanol.

  1. Ensure the generator is turned off and cool.
  2. Open the fuel tank cap.
  3. Slowly add gasoline to the fuel tank, being careful not to overfill. Leave space for fuel expansion.
  4. Securely close the fuel tank cap.

4. Attaching Wheel and Handle Kit

The generator supports both Electric Start and Recoil Start methods.

Electric Start:
