  1. Attach Antennas: Screw the two antennas securely onto both the Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) units.
  2. Connect Transmitter (TX):
    • Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI output of your source device (e.g., laptop, set-top box).
    • Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI IN port on the TX unit.
    • (Optional) If you wish to mirror the content on a local display, connect another HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT (Loop Out) port on the TX unit to your local display.
    • (Optional) Connect the IR Blaster cable to the IR OUT port on the TX unit. Position the IR Blaster head near the IR sensor of your source device.
    • Connect a power adapter to the AC Power Port of the TX unit and plug it into a power outlet.
  3. Connect Receiver (RX):
    • Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port on the RX unit.
    • Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input of your display device (e.g., TV, projector, monitor).
    • (Optional) Connect the IR Receiver cable to the IR IN port on the RX unit. Position the IR Receiver head in a location where it can receive signals from your remote control.
    • (Optional) Connect an audio cable from the AUX OUT port on the RX unit to external speakers if desired.
    • Connect a power adapter to the AC Power Port of the RX unit and plug it into a power outlet.
  4. Power On and Pair:
    • Ensure both the TX and RX units are powered on.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation (Mirror/Extend Mode)

Once the TX and RX units are paired, the content from your source device will be wirelessly transmitted to the display connected to the RX unit. If you have connected a local display to the TX unit's HDMI Loop Out, the content will be mirrored on both displays.

Figure 5.1: HDMI Loop Out Function. This image illustrates how the HDMI Loop Out on the Transmitter (TX) allows content to be displayed on a local screen while simultaneously being transmitted wirelessly to another display.

5.2 Infrared (IR) Remote Control Function

The integrated IR function allows you to control your source device (e.g., set-top box, DVD player) from the location of the receiver (RX).

  1. Ensure the IR Blaster cable is connected to the TX unit's IR OUT port and positioned near your source device's IR sensor.
  2. Ensure the IR Receiver cable is connected to the RX unit's IR IN port and positioned to receive signals from your remote control.
  3. Point your source device's remote control at the IR Receiver connected to the RX unit. The signals will be transmitted wirelessly back to the TX unit, which will then relay them via the IR Blaster to control your source device.

5.3 Multiple Receiver Pairing (Optional)

One YEHUA R15Y Transmitter (TX) can be paired with up to four Receivers (RX) simultaneously (additional RX units sold separately, model B09XD5SL7G). This allows you to transmit the same HDMI signal to multiple displays.

  1. Ensure the TX unit and all RX units are powered on.
  2. Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT of each RX unit to the HDMI IN of the TX unit.
  3. The units will automatically pair. The STA (green light) on each RX unit and the TX unit will illuminate steadily after a few seconds, indicating successful pairing.
  4. Once paired, disconnect the HDMI cable used for pairing from the TX unit. The RX units will maintain their wireless connection.
