Setup Guide

Charging the Headphones

1. Connect the supplied Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the headphones.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The LED indicator on the headphones will show the charging status. It typically turns solid red during charging and blue when fully charged.
4. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours. For quick use, a 10-minute charge provides about 1.5 hours of playtime.

Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

1. Ensure the headphones are turned off.
2. Press and hold the power button for approximately 3-5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately. This indicates the headphones are in pairing mode.
3. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, computer), go to the Bluetooth settings.
4. Search for available devices. You should see "Kimwood HS1" or a similar name appear in the list.
5. Select "Kimwood HS1" to connect. Once successfully paired, the LED indicator will turn solid blue or stop flashing, and you may hear a confirmation tone.
6. If prompted for a password, enter "0000".

The headphones will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. The LED indicator will flash blue.
• Power Off: Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. The LED indicator will flash red and then turn off.

Music Playback Control

• Play/Pause: Press the Multi-function button once.
• Next Track: Double-press the Multi-function button.
• Previous Track: Triple-press the Multi-function button.

Call Control

• Answer/End Call: Press the Multi-function button once.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Multi-function button for 2 seconds.
• Voice Assistant: Press the Multi-function button for 1 second to activate your device's voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant, etc.).

Volume Control

• Volume Up: Press the Volume + button.
• Volume Down: Press the Volume - button.

No sound or low volume

• Check if the audio output on your device is set to the headphones.
• If using earplugs, ensure they are inserted correctly to enhance sound in noisy environments.

Poor call quality

• Ensure you are in an area with good network signal.
• Move closer to your connected device to avoid interference.
