3. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Inspect: Check the unit for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.
  3. Clean: Before first use, clean the interior of the melter with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Ensure no water enters electrical components.
  4. Placement: Place the wax melter on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface away from flammable materials. Ensure adequate ventilation.
  5. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the product specifications (120V 60Hz for US models).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Adding Wax

  1. Ensure the melter is clean and dry.
  2. Add wax to the internal container. For optimal melting, add at least 1/3 of the wax capacity.

4.2 Temperature Control and Melting

  1. Turn the temperature dial to your desired setting (86°F to 212°F). The red light indicates heating.
  2. The melter will automatically enter an intermittent mode to maintain the set temperature once reached, preventing overheating or burning. The yellow light indicates 'keep warm' or insulation mode, and the green light indicates standby.
  3. If the melting speed is slow, you may temporarily set the temperature to the highest level and stir occasionally.
  4. Once the wax has fully melted, promptly reduce the temperature to the wax's recommended pouring temperature to avoid burning.

4.3 Pouring Wax

  1. Once the wax is melted and at the desired temperature, place your container (e.g., candle jar, pitcher) under the pour spout.
  2. Open the pour spout valve to dispense the melted wax. Close the valve when finished.
  3. Warm Tip: Always place a container at the spout to catch any drips and prevent burns.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Melter

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your wax melter. The design of the melter aims for easy cleanup.

  1. Empty Remaining Wax: After use, if there is still liquid wax, pour it out into appropriate containers.
  2. Cool Down: Allow the melter to cool completely before cleaning.
  3. Scrape Residue: Gently scrape any hardened wax residue from the interior using a non-abrasive tool.
  4. Wipe Clean: Wipe the interior with a soft cloth. For stubborn residue, a small amount of rubbing alcohol can be used, followed by wiping with a damp cloth and drying thoroughly.
  5. Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Clogged Spout

If the pour spout becomes clogged with wax due to operational error:

  1. Turn the temperature dial to 212°F (100°C).
  2. Wait approximately 5 to 15 minutes. The heating core spout technology will melt the residue wax inside, allowing it to flow again.
  3. A hairdryer can also be used to blow warm air onto the spout to speed up the melting process.
  4. Warm Tip: Always place a container at the spout to prevent burns from unexpected wax flow.

6.2 Wax Leaking from Bottom/Rear

If you observe wax leaking from the bottom or rear of the unit, immediately:

  • Shut off the unit.
  • Unplug the power cord.
  • Allow the unit to cool completely.
  • Do not attempt to operate the unit again. Contact customer support for assistance.

6.3 Inaccurate Temperature Readings / Overheating

While the unit has temperature control, some users have reported that the actual temperature can exceed the marked levels. To prevent wax from burning:

  • Always monitor the wax temperature with an external thermometer, especially when melting sensitive waxes.
  • Adjust the dial setting downwards if the wax is heating too quickly or exceeding the desired temperature.
  • The temperature deviation of the thermostat knob model is approximately ±10°C (±50°F).
