Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the night light from its packaging.
2. Prepare Plug: If the plug prongs are folded, gently extend them until they lock into place.
3. Plug In: Insert the night light into a standard 120V AC wall outlet. Ensure it is securely plugged in.
4. Placement: For optimal performance of the dusk-to-dawn sensor, place the night light in an area where it can detect ambient light levels without being directly obstructed.

Operating Instructions

1. Automatic Operation: The built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor will automatically turn the night light on when the ambient light is low (dusk) and turn it off when the ambient light is sufficient (dawn). No manual intervention is required for basic on/off functionality.
2. Adjusting Brightness: To adjust the brightness, locate the control area (often a small button or touch-sensitive spot) on the front of the night light. Long-press this area to cycle through brightness levels from 1 lumen (dimmest) to 50 lumens (brightest). Release your finger when the desired brightness is achieved. The night light will remember your last brightness setting.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

• Light does not turn on at dusk:

• Light does not turn off at dawn:
  • Ensure the surrounding area receives sufficient ambient light during the day.
  • Check for any artificial light sources (e.g., lamps, other electronics) that might be keeping the sensor activated.
• Brightness adjustment is not working:
  • Ensure you are long-pressing the correct control area. A short press might not register the adjustment.
  • If the issue persists, try unplugging the device for a few minutes and then plugging it back in to reset it.
