5. Operating Instructions
The Einhell TE-DA 18/760 Li-Solo is designed for cleaning pipes with diameters ranging from 16 mm to 55 mm. The 7.6-meter long, 7 mm thick galvanized spiral effectively tackles blockages.
5.1 Controls Overview
- Forward/Neutral/Reverse Lever: This lever controls the direction of the spiral's movement (in or out) and stops it.
- Direction of Rotation Switch: This switch controls the rotational direction of the spiral (clockwise or counter-clockwise) to effectively break up blockages.
- LED Light: An integrated LED light illuminates the work area for better visibility.

5.2 Cleaning Procedure
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly installed.
- Position the pipe cleaner near the drain opening.
- Insert the cleaning spiral into the pipe.
- Use the forward/neutral/reverse lever to feed the spiral into the pipe. The driven feed allows for automatic retraction and removal.
- Once the spiral encounters a blockage, use the direction of rotation switch to engage clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation to break up the obstruction. The locking mechanism can be used for stubborn dirt.
- Continue feeding and rotating the spiral until the blockage is cleared.
- Once the pipe is clear, use the lever to retract the spiral back into the drum.

- Remove the battery.
- Drain any remaining water from the drum through the designated openings.
- Rinse the drum and spiral with clean water to remove debris.
- Allow all components to dry thoroughly before storage to prevent rust and odor.
6.2 Spiral Care
The galvanized and rust-proof spiral is designed for longevity. To ensure its continued performance:
- Always clean the spiral after use.
- Inspect the spiral for any signs of damage or wear. Replace if necessary.
- Store the device in a dry place.
