Setup and Initial Use

Microwave Use:

The casserole is designed for reheating purposes in a microwave oven. Follow these guidelines:

• Ensure the casserole is placed without its lid on the microwave's glass turntable.
• Reheating time in the microwave oven should not exceed 5 minutes in microwave mode.
• For best performance and to prevent overheating, allow a minimum 15-20 minutes cooling gap between reheating cycles.
• Do not use the casserole in Grill, Convection, or Combination modes.
• Do not use aluminum foil to wrap food inside the casserole during microwave use.

Making Yogurt (Optional):

The MILTON Casserole can be used to make yogurt in approximately 5 hours (at an ambient temperature of 30-35°C).

1. Allow boiled milk to cool to approximately 50°C.
2. Add the starter culture (curd) to the milk and mix thoroughly.
3. Close the lid tightly.
4. After about one hour, partially open the lid to allow water vapor to evaporate from the milk.
5. Close the lid again. Your yogurt should be ready in about four hours.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning Instructions:

• Hand Washing: Wash in warm water with mild detergent or lemon-scented liquid soap. Do not use boiling water.
• Outer Body Care: Clean the outer body with a soft sponge instead of a brush to preserve its finish.
