Unpacking:

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Check for any shipping damage. If any damage is found, do not proceed with assembly and contact customer support.
  3. Ensure all parts listed in the 'Included Components' section are present.

Placement:

  • Place the griddle on a firm, level, non-combustible surface outdoors.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation and clearance from combustible materials (minimum 10 inches from back and sides).

Connecting the LP Hose and Regulator:

  1. Ensure the griddle control knobs are in the 'OFF' position.

  3. Connect the other end of the regulator to a standard 20 lb. LP gas cylinder. Turn the cylinder valve clockwise until snug.
  4. Perform a leak test: Apply a soapy water solution to all gas connections. Bubbles indicate a leak. If a leak is detected, turn off the gas, tighten connections, and re-test. Do not operate if leaks persist.

Follow these steps for safe and efficient operation of your griddle.

  1. Ensure the LP cylinder valve is fully open.
  2. Push in and turn one control knob counter-clockwise to the 'HIGH' position.
  3. You should hear a click, indicating the Piezo igniter is sparking. The burner should ignite within a few seconds.
  4. If the burner does not light, turn the knob to 'OFF', wait 5 minutes for gas to dissipate, and repeat the lighting procedure.
  5. Once lit, adjust the flame to your desired cooking temperature by turning the knob between 'HIGH' and 'LOW'.
  6. Repeat for the second burner if needed.

Preheating:

For best cooking results, preheat the griddle for 5-10 minutes on medium heat before placing food on the surface. This ensures even heat distribution across the 323 sq. inch cooking area.

Shutting Down:
