Installation Tips

  • Solar Panel Placement: Ensure the solar panel is installed in a location that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day for optimal charging. Avoid shaded areas.
  • Camera Height: It is recommended to install the camera at a height of 2-3 meters (6.5-10 feet) for optimal coverage and detection.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight on Lens: Do not place the camera lens directly facing the sun, as this can cause glare and affect image quality.
  • Clear Line of Sight: Avoid placing the camera lens against walls or glass at close range, which can obstruct the view or cause reflections.
  • Wi-Fi Signal Strength: Ensure the installation location has a strong 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal for stable connectivity.

  • Weather Resistance: The camera is IP65 waterproof, designed to withstand various weather conditions including rain and snow. However, extreme conditions may temporarily affect performance.

  • Not Charging: Verify the solar panel is clean and receiving direct sunlight. Check the connection cable between the solar panel and the camera.
  • False Alarms: Adjust the PIR motion sensor sensitivity settings in the app. Consider customizing alert zones to exclude high-traffic areas or moving foliage.
  • Poor Image Quality: Ensure the lens is clean and free from obstructions. Check Wi-Fi signal strength, as a weak signal can affect streaming quality.
