Setup and First Use

Unpacking

Carefully remove the iron and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.

Filling the Water Tank

  1. Ensure the iron is unplugged and cool.
  2. Open the water tank inlet cover, typically located near the handle.
  3. Fill the water tank with clean tap water up to the 'MAX' indicator line. Do not overfill.
  4. Close the water tank inlet cover securely.

The iron features a large 220ml water tank, reducing the need for frequent refills during extended ironing sessions.

Operating Instructions

Powering On and Temperature Setting

  1. Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet (1200 watts).
  2. Adjust the temperature dial to the desired fabric setting. The iron will heat up quickly.
  3. Wait for the indicator light to turn off, signifying that the iron has reached the set temperature.

Steam Functions

  • Continuous Steam: For regular ironing, activate the continuous steam function, which provides up to 20 g/minute of steam.
  • Powerful Steam Boost: For stubborn creases, press the steam boost button to release a powerful 100 g/minute burst of steam.

Precision Tip

The iron features a precision tip on its soleplate, allowing for easy access into small areas such as around buttons, collars, and pleats, ensuring thorough ironing results.

Vertical Steaming

The powerful steam burst can also be used for vertical steaming. Hold the iron upright and direct the steam towards hanging garments to refresh fabrics and remove wrinkles without an ironing board.

Maintenance

Anti-Calc System

The iron is equipped with an anti-calc system to prevent limescale buildup, ensuring long-lasting steam performance. Regular use of this system helps maintain the iron's efficiency.

Cleaning the Soleplate

  • Ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
  • Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary.
  • Do not use abrasive scouring pads or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the soleplate.

Emptying the Water Tank

After each use, it is recommended to empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent mineral buildup and ensure hygiene.
