1. Setup

1.1 Unboxing

Carefully open the packaging and remove all components. Ensure all parts are present before proceeding with assembly.

1.2 Assembly

Ensure all parts are laid out and accounted for before beginning assembly.

1.2.1 Front Wheel Installation

  1. Remove the protective cover from the front wheel's disc brake.
  2. Unbolt and remove the quick release skewer from the front fork.
  3. Lift the bike and carefully fit the front wheel into its designated slots on the fork, ensuring the disc brake aligns correctly.
  4. Re-insert and securely tighten the quick release skewer to fasten the front wheel.

1.2.2 Handlebar Installation

  1. Remove the protective cap from the top of the front fork stem.
  2. Place the handlebar assembly onto the fork stem.
  3. Adjust the handlebar to your preferred angle and tighten the screws to secure it firmly in place.
  4. Replace the protective cap on the fork stem.
  5. Test the handlebar's stability by gently lifting and turning the front wheel.

1.2.3 Seat Installation

  1. Slide the seat post into the bike's seat tube.
  2. Adjust the seat to your desired riding height.
  3. Secure the seat in place using the quick release lever on the seat tube.

1.2.4 Pedal Installation

  1. Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals, typically marked on the pedal spindle.
  2. Carefully screw the pedals into their corresponding crank arms. The left pedal screws counter-clockwise, and the right pedal screws clockwise.
  3. Use the provided wrench to tighten the pedals securely.

1.2.5 Front Light Adjustment

  1. Adjust the front light to ensure optimal visibility and proper beam direction.

2. Operating

2.1 Battery

2.1.1 Charging

To charge the battery, connect the charger to the charging port located under the protective cover on the battery unit. Ensure the charger is plugged into a power outlet.

2.1.2 Removal and Installation

The battery can be removed for charging or security purposes.

  1. Use the provided key to unlock the battery from the frame.
  2. Gently lift the battery upwards to remove it.
  3. To install, slide the battery back into the frame until it clicks into place, then lock it with the key.

2.2 Control Panel

The handlebar features a control panel for various functions.

2.2.1 Pedal Assist Levels

Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the left-side controller to adjust the pedal assist level. The LCD display will show the current level (0-3).

2.2.2 Gear Shifter

The Shimano 7-speed gear shifter is located on the right side of the handlebar. Use it to manually change gears according to terrain and desired effort.

2.2.3 Headlight Control

The front light can be turned on/off using the dedicated button on the left-side controller.
