Setup
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the built-in rechargeable battery. Connect the supplied USB-C charging cable to the USB-C port on the back of the radio and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator on the display will show charging status.

2. Powering On/Off
Press and hold the Power button (usually located on the front panel) for approximately 5 seconds to turn the radio on or off.
3. Connecting to Wi-Fi Network
For Internet Radio functionality, the device requires a Wi-Fi connection. Follow the on-screen prompts during initial setup to connect to your home Wi-Fi network. You will need your network name (SSID) and password.
- Navigate to the Settings menu using the Dial/Select knob.
- Select Network or Wi-Fi Setup.
- The radio will scan for available networks. Select your network from the list.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password using the dial and select buttons. Confirm your entry.
- Once connected, a Wi-Fi icon will appear on the display.
4. Bluetooth Pairing
To use the WR-336F as a Bluetooth receiver:
- Switch the radio to Bluetooth mode using the Mode button or menu.
- The radio will enter pairing mode, indicated on the display.
- On your external device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Ocean Digital WR-336F" from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, you can stream audio from your device to the radio.
Operating Instructions
1. Internet Radio
Access thousands of internet radio stations from around the world.
- Browsing: Use the Dial/Select knob to navigate through categories such as Region, Genre, and Most Popular.
- Searching: Use the Search function to find specific stations by entering a few characters of the station name.
- Presets: The radio features 4 dedicated preset buttons (1-4) on the front panel for quick access to your most-listened-to stations. You can save up to 99 stations in your personalized favorite list. To save a station, tune to it, then press and hold one of the preset buttons until the display confirms. To recall, simply press the corresponding preset button.
2. FM Radio
To listen to traditional FM broadcasts:
- Extend the telescopic antenna on the back of the unit for optimal reception.
- Switch to FM mode using the Mode button.
- Use the Dial/Select knob to manually tune to frequencies or use the auto-scan function to find available stations.
3. Bluetooth Receiver Mode
As detailed in the Setup section, select Bluetooth mode on the radio and pair your external device to stream audio wirelessly.
4. UPnP/DLNA Compatible
The WR-336F supports UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) and DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance), allowing you to stream music from compatible devices on your local network, such as a PC or NAS drive. Ensure your media server is properly configured and discoverable on the same network as the radio.
5. Using the Remote Control
The included remote control provides convenient access to most functions. Insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included) into the remote before use. Functions include power, volume, mode selection, station navigation, and preset access.
