7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your meat grinder.
- Disassembly: Unplug the appliance. Disassemble all removable parts in reverse order of assembly.
- Initial Rinse: Rinse all parts under warm running water to remove any large food particles.
- Hand Washing (Recommended): For best results and to prevent oxidation of aluminum alloy parts, hand wash all components with mild dish soap and warm water. Use a soft brush to remove stubborn meat residue.
- Dishwasher Safe Parts: The stainless steel blades, grinding plates, and BPA-free plastic accessories (sausage tube, kubbe parts) are dishwasher safe. However, hand washing is generally recommended for all parts to maintain their finish and longevity.
- Motor Unit Cleaning: Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water or spray it with liquids.
- Drying: Thoroughly dry all parts immediately after washing to prevent rust, especially for metal components. A thin layer of vegetable oil can be applied to the cutting knife and grinding plates after drying to prolong their service life.
- Storage: Store the clean, dry parts in the integrated storage box within the motor unit or in a dry, safe place.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your meat grinder, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Motor stops during operation / Grinder jams. | Overload, bone/gristle blockage, or tough meat. | Press the "REV" (Reverse) button to clear the blockage. If it persists, turn off, unplug, disassemble, clear the obstruction, and reassemble. Ensure meat is properly prepared (no bones/gristle). |
| Appliance does not turn on. | Not plugged in, power outage, or circuit breaker tripped. | Check power connection. Verify power outlet. The appliance has an anti-overheat protection system; if it overheated, it will automatically stop. Allow it to cool down before restarting. |
| Meat is not grinding properly / Output is mushy. | Dull blade, incorrect assembly, or meat is too warm. | Ensure the cutting blade is sharp and correctly installed (sharp edge facing outwards). Check that the fixing ring is tightened. Ensure meat is chilled before grinding. |
| Loud noise or vibration. | Improper assembly or foreign object. | Turn off and unplug. Disassemble and check all parts for correct placement and any foreign objects. Reassemble carefully. |
