3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
Your Energizer TAC-300 Pro flashlight requires one CR123 Lithium Battery (included). To install or replace the battery:
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert the CR123 Lithium Battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
- Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened. Ensure the O-ring is properly seated to maintain water resistance.

3.2 Attaching/Removing the Belt Clip
The flashlight comes with a removable belt clip for convenient carrying. The clip can be attached or removed by sliding it onto or off the flashlight body. It can be oriented in two directions for flexible attachment to pockets, belts, or gear.

4. Operating Instructions
The Energizer TAC-300 Pro features a simple rear push-button switch to control its functions.
4.1 Turning On/Off
- To turn the flashlight ON, fully press the rear push button until it clicks.
- To turn the flashlight OFF, fully press the rear push button again until it clicks.
4.2 Changing Light Modes
The flashlight cycles through three modes: High, Low, and Emergency Strobe.
- With the flashlight ON, lightly press the rear push button (without clicking) to cycle to the next mode.
- The sequence is typically: High → Low → Emergency Strobe → High.
- If the flashlight is turned off for a few seconds, it will typically revert to the High mode when turned back on.

6. Troubleshooting
- Flashlight does not turn on: Ensure the battery is inserted correctly with the positive (+) end towards the head. Check if the battery is fresh and fully charged. Tighten the tail cap completely.
- Dim light output: Replace the battery with a fresh one. Clean the lens if it appears dirty.
- Intermittent operation: Ensure all connections are tight, especially the tail cap. Check for any corrosion on battery contacts and clean if necessary.
