Pairing with Your Mobile Device
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone.
- Take both M3 earbuds out of the charging case. They will automatically enter pairing mode.
- Open the Timekettle app. The app will guide you through the connection process.
- Select "M3" from the list of available devices in the app to establish the connection.
Important Note:
Before starting any conversation or translation, you must connect the earbuds to your mobile phone via Bluetooth and set the corresponding languages for both earbuds within the Timekettle App, regardless of the mode you intend to use.
Operating Modes
The Timekettle M3 offers three distinct translation modes to suit various communication scenarios:
-
1. Touch Mode
In Touch Mode, each person wears one earbud. To speak, simply touch your earbud. Your speech will be translated and heard by the other person in their earbud. This mode is ideal for one-on-one, in-depth conversations, allowing for a natural flow of dialogue.

-
2. Listen Mode
In Listen Mode, your phone automatically picks up sentences spoken around you and translates them into the language you need, playing the translation through your earbud. This mode is useful for understanding conversations in a group setting or when listening to a speaker.
-
3. Speaker Mode
Speaker Mode allows you to use your smartphone as a speaker for translations, or wear both earbuds yourself. This is suitable for short interactions, such as asking for directions or ordering food, where you need to communicate with someone who doesn't have an earbud.
Key Features
-
Revolutionary AI Semantic Segmentation Technology
This advanced technology minimizes translation delays during long conversations by automatically segmenting speech into logical sentences. You can seamlessly hear translations of previous sentences as speakers move to the next, ensuring a smooth and instant understanding.

Troubleshooting Tips
If you encounter issues with your Timekettle M3 earbuds, consider the following:
-
Connection Stability
Ensure your mobile phone's Bluetooth is active and the earbuds are within range (up to 20 meters). If earbuds disconnect, try resetting them as described in the Maintenance section.
-
Translation Accuracy and Latency
- Language Setting: Verify that the languages set in the app for each earbud correspond to the language being spoken by the respective user. Incorrect settings can lead to inaccurate pickup and translation.
- Wearing Method: When using Simul/Touch mode, avoid wearing both earbuds yourself. Ensure a distance of at least 1 meter between the two parties. The earbud handle should not point directly at the other person's mouth.
- Ambient Noise: Adjust the "Ambient Noise" setting in the app's Settings page according to your speaking speed and the surrounding environment (quiet or noisy). In noisy environments, it is recommended to move the setting towards "Noise".
- Speaking Speed: Adjust "Pause Duration" and "Translation Audio Playback" speed in the app to match your speaking pace. A suggestion is to set "Pause Duration" to "Shorter" and "Translation Audio Playback" to 1.25x.
- Network Environment: A poor network connection can result in longer latency and reduced accuracy. Check your internet connection when using online translation features.
- Accents: Select the correct accent for the language being spoken in the app settings.
- Speech Clarity: Try to maintain sentence integrity, speak at a normal volume and speed, and reduce the use of slang or highly specialized vocabulary for optimal translation.
-
Audio Issues (Volume, First Word Cut-off)
If the volume is too low or the first word of a sentence is cut off, adjust the sensitivity settings in the app. Experiment with values (e.g., sensitivity to 30 and pause time to 2 seconds) to find the optimal balance for your environment and speaking style.
-
PC Connection
If you wish to connect M3 to your PC, you may need to reset the earbuds before attempting the connection.
