Measuring and Size Selection

Measuring Guide (Inside Mount)

Diagram illustrating how to measure a window for inside mount blinds, showing window depth, width, and height measurements.

This diagram provides detailed instructions for accurately measuring your window for an inside mount installation. It emphasizes the importance of ensuring the window depth is at least 1.5 inches and calculating the minimum width and height from multiple points within the inner frame.

  • Window Depth: Must be ≥ 1½ inch for proper installation.
  • Window Width: Measure the inner frame width at three points (W1, W2, W3) and use the minimum value.
  • Window Height: Measure the inner frame height at three points (H1, H2, H3) and use the minimum value.
  • The motorized blinds can be lowered down to a maximum of 72 inches. The default height can be adjusted to any position less than 72 inches using the remote control.

Size Selection Recommendation

Maintenance

Maintaining your MANSNIX Smart Motorized Blinds is simple and requires minimal effort to ensure their longevity and optimal performance.

  • Cleaning: Use a feather duster or a soft, dry cloth to gently remove dust from the fabric and valance. For more stubborn spots, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but avoid saturating the fabric.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace the 6 AA batteries approximately every 4-6 months, or when you notice a decrease in motor performance or responsiveness.
  • Motor Care: The quiet DC motor is designed for durability. Avoid obstructing the blinds' movement to prevent strain on the motor.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your MANSNIX Smart Motorized Blinds, please refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • Blinds not responding to remote: Check if the remote's battery is low or needs replacement. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the blinds. Re-pair the remote if necessary (refer to the Quick Installation Guide for pairing instructions).
  • Blinds not moving smoothly: Check for any physical obstructions in the window frame or along the blind's path. Ensure the installation is secure and level.
  • Motor sounds unusual or weak: This may indicate low batteries. Replace all 6 AA batteries.
  • Smart control issues (if using a hub): Ensure your smart bridge/hub is properly connected to your home network and the blinds are correctly paired with the hub. Check the hub's app for any error messages or connectivity issues.
  • Blinds not fully blacking out: Verify that the blinds are correctly sized for your window and that there are no gaps allowing light leakage. Ensure the valance is properly installed.
