Setup

Powering the Keyboard
The SA-51 can be powered using two methods:
- AC Adapter: Connect the included AC adapter to the DC 9.5V jack on the rear of the keyboard and plug it into a standard wall outlet.
- Batteries: For portable use, insert six (6) AA-size alkaline batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard. Ensure correct polarity. The keyboard can operate for approximately 12 hours on batteries.
Connecting Headphones or External Audio
To practice privately or connect to external speakers, use the PHONES / OUTPUT (stereo mini jack) located on the rear of the keyboard. This is a 3.5mm jack.

Applying Key Stickers
The included key stickers can be applied to the keys to assist with learning note identification. Follow the instructions provided with the stickers for proper placement.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off and Volume Control
- Power: Use the ON/OFF switch located on the control panel to turn the keyboard on or off.
- Volume: Adjust the volume slider on the control panel to your desired listening level.
Selecting Tones
The SA-51 features 100 built-in tones. To select a tone:
- Press the TONE button.
- Use the number buttons (0-9) to enter the two-digit tone number (e.g., 00 for Piano, 12 for Organ, 20 for Guitar).
- The selected tone number will appear on the LCD screen.

Selecting Rhythm Patterns
The keyboard includes 50 rhythm patterns. To select a rhythm:
- Press the PATTERN button.
- Use the number buttons (0-9) to enter the two-digit rhythm number (e.g., 00 for Pops, 15 for European).
- Press the START/STOP button to begin or end the rhythm.
Using the Song Bank
The SA-51 has 10 built-in songs. To play a song:
- Press the SONG BANK button.
- Use the number buttons (0-9) to enter the song number (e.g., 03 for Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star).
- Press the START/STOP button to begin or end the song.
- Press the MELODY ON/OFF button to mute or unmute the melody part of the song, allowing you to play along.
Adjusting Tempo
Use the TEMPO buttons (up/down arrows) to increase or decrease the speed of rhythms or songs.
Additional Sound Controls
The keyboard also features controls for octave shift, transpose, tuning, and reverb to further customize your sound. Refer to the instructional book for detailed usage of these functions.

Maintenance
Cleaning

Troubleshooting
No Sound
- Check if the power is on and the volume is turned up.
- Ensure headphones are not connected if you intend to use the built-in speakers.
- If using batteries, check if they are correctly inserted and not depleted.
- If using the AC adapter, ensure it is securely connected to both the keyboard and the power outlet.
Keys Not Responding
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
