2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.

3. Setup and Assembly

1. Unpack the Steamer: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in the "Package Contents" section are present.

2. Fill the Water Tank: Detach the 120ml water tank from the main unit. Open the water tank cap and fill it with demineralized or distilled water using the provided measuring cup. Do not overfill. Close the cap securely and reattach the water tank to the steamer unit.

3. Attach Fabric Brush (Optional): For deeper cleaning or to remove lint, align the fabric brush attachment with the steam outlet nozzle and press firmly until it clicks into place.

4. Unfold Handle: If the handle is folded for storage, gently unfold it until it locks into the upright position.

5. Plug In: Insert the power plug into a suitable 240V AC electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

1. Power On and Heat Up: Press the one-touch ON/OFF button. The indicator light will illuminate, and the steamer will begin to heat up. It takes approximately 15 seconds to reach operating temperature.

2. Select Steam Level: The steamer features a 2-level steam output (16-24g/min). Adjust the steam intensity as needed for different fabrics. Refer to the fabric guide below for recommendations.

3. Steaming Garments:

   • Vertical Steaming: Hang the garment on a hanger. Hold the steamer upright and gently glide the steam nozzle over the fabric, moving from top to bottom. Lightly pull the fabric taut with your free hand for better results.
   • Horizontal Pressing: For collars, cuffs, or more stubborn wrinkles, place the garment on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Press the steamer head directly onto the fabric and move it slowly across the area. The unique leak-proof technology allows steaming from any angle.

4. Fabric Compatibility: The HANGSUN steamer is suitable for all fabrics, including blended fabric, denim, thick woolen coats, polyester, acrylic, velvet, chemical fiber, silk, wool, shirts, and suits. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.

5. Continuous Steaming: A full 120ml water tank provides approximately 13 minutes of continuous steaming.

6. Finishing: Once steaming is complete, press the ON/OFF button to turn off the steamer. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely before storing.

• Empty Water Tank: After each use, always empty any remaining water from the tank. This prevents stagnant water and mineral buildup.
• Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Cleaning the Steam Nozzle: If mineral deposits accumulate around the steam outlet, gently wipe them away with a cotton swab dipped in vinegar, then wipe with a damp cloth. Ensure the steamer is unplugged and cool.
• Descaling: To prevent limescale buildup, especially if using tap water (though demineralized/distilled is recommended), periodically descale the steamer. Fill the water tank with a mixture of 50% white vinegar and 50% water. Run the steamer until half the solution is used, then turn off and let it sit for 30 minutes. Run the rest of the solution through, then rinse the tank and run two full tanks of fresh water through the steamer to clear any vinegar residue.
• Storage: Ensure the steamer is completely cool and dry before storing. The foldable handle allows for compact storage. Store the steamer and its accessories in the provided travel pouch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
