5. Setup

5.1 Initial Power On

  1. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC input port on the back of the alarm clock.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet (100-240V).
  3. The display will light up, and the clock will automatically attempt to synchronize time when connected to a smart device via Bluetooth.
  4. A CR2032 battery is pre-installed to maintain time and settings during power outages.

5.2 Manual Time and Date Setting

If automatic time synchronization is not desired or available, you can set the time and date manually.

  1. Set Time: Press and hold the TIME SET button. Use the +/- buttons to adjust hours and minutes. Press TIME SET again to confirm and move to the next setting (e.g., 12/24H format, Daylight Saving Time).
  2. Set Date: Press and hold the DATE SET button. Use the +/- buttons to adjust year, month, and day. Press DATE SET again to confirm.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Setting Alarms

The REACHER A1 supports dual alarms with customizable settings.

  1. Activate Alarm Setting: Press the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button (located on the top panel). The alarm time will flash.
  2. Set Alarm Time: Use the +/- buttons to adjust the desired wake-up time. Press the respective alarm button again to confirm.
  3. Select Ringtones: After setting the time, press the alarm button again to cycle through 7 natural ringtones (Flute, Bird, Cuckoo, Piano, Forest, Beep, Bell).
  4. Adjust Alarm Volume: Use the +/- buttons to set the alarm volume (1-30 levels).
  5. Set Alarm Frequency: Press the alarm button again to choose between Weekday, Weekend, or Everyday.
  6. Snooze Function: When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button for an extra 9 minutes of sleep.
  7. Turn Off Alarm: To stop a sounding alarm, press any button other than SNOOZE. To disable an alarm completely, press the respective alarm button until the alarm icon disappears from the display.

6.2 Bluetooth Speaker Function

Stream audio wirelessly from your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

  1. Pairing Mode: Press the BT button. The Bluetooth indicator on the display will flash, indicating it's ready for pairing.
  2. Connect Device: On your smart device, enable Bluetooth and search for "REACHER A1" in the list of available devices. Select it to connect.
  3. Playback Control: Once connected, you can play music or audio from your device. Use the Play/Pause, Previous, and Next buttons on the clock's top panel to control playback.
  4. Volume Adjustment: Use the +/- buttons to adjust the speaker volume (30 levels).

6.3 Ambient Night Light

Create a soothing atmosphere with the integrated 8-color night light.

  1. Turn On/Off: Press the Light button (often combined with volume controls) to turn the night light on or off.
  2. Change Color: While the night light is on, press the Light button repeatedly to cycle through the 8 available colors (white, red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple).
  3. Adjust Brightness: Use the +/- buttons to adjust the brightness of the night light.

6.4 Dimmable Display

Adjust the display brightness to your preference, ensuring comfort day and night.

Press the Dimmer button (often integrated with the light control) repeatedly to cycle through 6 levels of display brightness, including off.

6.5 Auto-Off Sleep Timer

Set a timer for the audio and light to automatically turn off, helping you fall asleep.

  1. Press the SLEEP TIMER button.
  2. Repeatedly press the SLEEP TIMER button to cycle through preset durations (e.g., 5, 10, 15, 30, 60, 90, 120, 180 minutes) or select non-stop.
  3. The selected duration will be displayed, and the audio/light will turn off automatically after the set time.

ProblemSolution
Clock display is blank.Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the clock and the wall outlet. Check if the display brightness is set to off (press the Dimmer button).
Alarm does not sound.Verify that the alarm is enabled (alarm icon visible on display) and the volume is not set to zero. Check alarm frequency (weekday/weekend/everyday).
Cannot pair with Bluetooth.Ensure the clock is in Bluetooth pairing mode (BT indicator flashing). Make sure your smart device's Bluetooth is on and within range. Forget "REACHER A1" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
Time is incorrect.Check if the clock is connected to a smart device for auto-time sync. If not, manually set the time and date as described in Section 5.2.
Night light is not working.Press the Light button to turn it on. Adjust brightness using the +/- buttons.
