1. Introduction

The GNCC GSP01 Smart Plug is designed to provide convenient control over your electrical appliances. This smart plug integrates with popular voice assistants like Alexa and Google Home, and can be managed remotely via the Smart Life or Osaio mobile application. It offers features such as remote control, timer functions, scheduling, and device sharing to enhance your home automation experience.

Important Note: This smart plug is not suitable for appliances with power consumption exceeding 10A or 1200W, such as air conditioners, microwave ovens, or induction cookers.

2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before using the GNCC GSP01 Smart Plug. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or other hazards.

• Do not exceed the maximum load of 10A / 1200W.
• Use only in dry indoor locations.
• Ensure the plug is fully inserted into the outlet.

3. Product Overview

The GNCC GSP01 is a compact, white smart plug designed for standard electrical outlets. It features a power button and an indicator light. The plug connects to your home Wi-Fi network to enable smart functionalities.

4. Setup Instructions

To set up your GNCC GSP01 Smart Plug, follow these steps:

1. Download the App: Download the "Smart Life" or "Osaio" app from your smartphone's app store (available for iOS and Android). Register for an account if you don't already have one.
2. Prepare for Connection:
   • Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The GSP01 Smart Plug does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
   • Plug the GSP01 Smart Plug into a power outlet.
   • Power off the device for 10 seconds, then power it back on.
3. Reset the Device: Press and hold the power button on the smart plug for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light begins to blink rapidly. This indicates it's in pairing mode.
4. Add Device in App:
   • Open the Smart Life/Osaio app.
   • Tap the '+' icon in the top right corner to add a device.
   • Select "Electrical" then "Socket (Wi-Fi)".
   • Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network password.
   • Confirm that the indicator light is blinking rapidly in the app.
   • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection. If the light blinks slowly, the app may guide you to connect to a temporary "SmartLife_xxxx" hotspot from the device before returning to the app.
5. Name Your Device: Once connected, you can name your smart plug (e.g., "Living Room Lamp") for easier identification and voice control.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Remote Control

Control your connected appliances from anywhere using the Smart Life or Osaio app on your smartphone. Simply open the app and tap the power icon next to your device's name to turn it on or off.

5.2 Voice Control

The GSP01 Smart Plug is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings. After connecting the plug to the Smart Life/Osaio app, link your app account to your preferred voice assistant through its respective application (e.g., Alexa app, Google Home app).

Once linked, you can use voice commands such as:

• "Alexa, turn on the [device name]."
• "Hey Google, turn off the [device name]."
• "Alexa, set [device name] to 50%." (If applicable for dimmable devices, though this plug is typically on/off).

5.3 Timer and Schedule Functions

Set schedules and timers for your appliances to automate their operation. This can help save energy and add convenience to your daily routine.

• Schedule: Set specific times for the plug to turn on or off daily or on selected days.
• Timer: Set a countdown timer for the plug to turn off after a specified duration.
• Circulate: Program the plug to cycle on and off at regular intervals.

5.4 Random Interval Function

Utilize the random interval function to make it appear as if someone is home by randomly turning connected lights or appliances on and off during a set period. This can be useful for security when you are away.

5.5 Device Sharing

Share control of your smart plug with family members. This allows multiple users to manage the connected appliances from their own devices without needing to set up the plug individually.

• In the Smart Life/Osaio app, navigate to the device settings.
• Look for the "Share Device" or "Device Sharing" option.
• Follow the prompts to invite other users via their app accounts.

The GNCC GSP01 Smart Plug requires minimal maintenance. To ensure optimal performance and longevity:

• Keep the device clean by wiping it with a dry, soft cloth.
