Setup Guide
1. Download the App
Download the "Smart Life" or "Osaio" app from your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS). Register or log in to your account.
2. Connect the Smart Plug
Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The smart plug only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. If your router broadcasts both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, ensure your phone is connected to the 2.4 GHz band.

EZ Mode (Recommended)
- Plug in the smart plug.
- Press and hold the power button on the smart plug for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly (two times per second).
- In the app, click the "+" button in the upper right corner, then "Add Device".
- Select "Plug (BLE+Wi-Fi)" model under Electrical.
- Confirm the indicator is blinking rapidly and enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi password.
- The app will automatically connect to the device.
- Once connected, name your smart plug and save it.

AP Mode
- Plug in the smart plug.
- Press and hold the power button until the indicator light flashes slowly (one time every 3 seconds).
- In the app, click the "+" button, then "Add Device".
- Select "Plug (BLE+Wi-Fi)" model.
- Confirm the indicator is blinking slowly.
- Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi password.
- Connect your phone to the device's hotspot named "SmartLife_xxxx" in your phone's Wi-Fi settings (this is generated by the device, not your home Wi-Fi).
- Return to the app to complete the pairing.
- Name your smart plug and save it.

BT Mode (Bluetooth)
- Plug in the smart plug.
- Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on.
- Press and hold the power button on the smart plug for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly (two times per second).
- In the app, click the "+" button, then "Add Device".
- Select "Plug (BLE+Wi-Fi)" model.
- The app should detect the device via Bluetooth. Confirm the indicator is blinking rapidly.
- Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi password.
- The app will connect to the device.
- Name your smart plug and save it.

Operating Instructions
1. Remote Control
Control your connected devices from anywhere using the Smart Life/Osaio app on your smartphone. Simply open the app, select the smart plug, and toggle its power on or off.

2. Voice Control
The GNCC Smart Plug is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Link your Smart Life/Osaio account to your voice assistant app (Alexa or Google Home). Once linked, you can use voice commands to control your devices. For example, "Alexa, turn on the fan" or "Hey Google, turn off the lamp."

3. Scheduling and Timer Functions
Set schedules and timers for your devices directly from the app. This allows you to automate when your appliances turn on or off, saving energy and adding convenience. For example, schedule your coffee maker to turn on before you wake up or set a countdown timer for charging your phone to prevent overcharging.

4. Energy Monitoring

Troubleshooting
Connectivity Issues
- Ensure 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi: The smart plug only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. Confirm your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz signal and your phone is connected to it during setup.
- Check Wi-Fi Signal Strength: Make sure the smart plug is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
- Reset the Smart Plug: If connection fails, try resetting the smart plug by holding the power button for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly (for EZ Mode) or slowly (for AP Mode), then attempt to reconnect.
- Router Settings: Some routers may have advanced settings that interfere with smart device connections. Consult your router's manual or ISP if issues persist.
Device Not Responding
- Check Power: Ensure the smart plug is properly plugged into a working outlet and the connected appliance is powered on.
- App Status: Verify the device status in the Smart Life/Osaio app.
- Internet Connection: Confirm your phone has an active internet connection to control the plug remotely.
