1. Product Overview

2. Setup

This product is a bare tool only and requires a Milwaukee M12 REDLITHIUM™ battery (sold separately) for operation.

  1. Battery Installation:

    Align the M12 REDLITHIUM™ battery with the battery slot at the base of the light. Slide the battery into the slot until it clicks securely into place. Ensure the battery is fully seated to establish proper electrical contact.

  2. Battery Removal:

    To remove the battery, press the release tabs on the sides of the battery pack and slide the battery out of the tool.

  3. Charging:

    Charge the M12 REDLITHIUM™ battery using a compatible Milwaukee M12 charger (sold separately) according to the charger's instructions. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use for optimal performance.

3. Operating Instructions

The Color Match Light features intuitive controls for adjusting brightness and color temperature.

  1. Power On/Off:

    Press the POWER button once to turn the light on. Press it again to turn the light off.

  2. Adjusting Brightness Modes:

    With the light on, press the MODE button to cycle through the three available brightness settings: Low, Medium, and High. Select the mode that best suits your inspection needs.

  3. Adjusting Color Temperature:

    With the light on, press the COLOR button to cycle through the five color temperature settings. These settings allow you to simulate different lighting environments, aiding in precise color matching and defect identification.

  4. Using the Magnetic Base:

    The light is equipped with a strong magnet on its base. Attach the light to any ferrous metal surface for hands-free operation, allowing you to position the light precisely where needed during detailing or painting tasks.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Milwaukee M12 Color Match Light.
