2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the following items:

2.2 Connecting the Base Unit
- Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the RJ11 port on the back of the base unit.
- Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your wall telephone socket or ADSL box.
- Plug the power adapter into the power input port on the base unit.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
2.3 Installing Handset Batteries and Charging
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the cordless handset.
- Insert the 3 AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
