Initial Setup

Charging the Alarm

Before first use, fully charge the bike alarm using the provided USB-A to USB-C cable. The alarm features a built-in 700mAh rechargeable lithium battery.

Pairing the Remote to the Alarm

The remote control needs to be paired with the alarm unit for proper functionality. Up to 8 remotes can be paired to one alarm.

  1. Press the DISARM button on the remote.
  2. Press and hold the PAIRING BUTTON (small button on the side of the alarm unit) for 3 seconds until you hear a tone confirming you are in pairing mode. Pairing mode will stop after 30 seconds, or if you press the button again.
  3. Press the ARM button on your remote to pair the alarm.
  4. If successful, you will hear a "Du Du" tone to confirm the pairing.

Installation Methods

The Fosmon bike alarm offers three secure mounting options to suit various needs and surfaces:

1. Bracket Installation (for handlebars or bike frame tubes)

  1. Insert and rotate the alarm into the top of the tube mounting bracket until you feel the two lock together and the security screw holes are aligned.
  2. Install the security screw using a small Philips head screwdriver.
  3. Place the 2 silicone pads along the inside of both halves of the bracket.
  4. Use the included long screws to tightly and securely clamp the bracket around your intended installation area.

2. Zip Ties Installation (for flat surfaces or irregularly shaped objects)

  1. Insert and rotate the alarm into the top of the zip tie/double sided tape installation bracket until you feel the bracket and alarm lock in with each other.
  2. Run the two zip ties through either one or both of the provided channels on the bracket.
  3. Wrap the zip ties around your intended installation area and pull tight to ensure a secure fit.

3. Double-Sided Tape Installation (for flat surfaces)

  1. Insert and rotate the alarm into the top of the zip tie/double sided tape installation bracket until you feel the bracket and alarm lock in with each other.
  2. Peel the other side of the double-sided tape pad and press firmly for 30 seconds to your intended installation surface to ensure a secure bond.

Operating Instructions

Arming and Disarming the Alarm

Adjusting Sensitivity

The alarm has 7 sensitivity levels, from highest ("Do") to lowest ("Ti").

  1. Press and hold the DISARM button on the remote for about 6 seconds. The LED will turn off and back on.
  2. Press the ARM button once to hear the current sensitivity setting. It will sound from "Do" up to your current setting.
  3. Repeatedly press the ARM button until you hear the desired musical pitch (sensitivity level).
  4. Once the desired sensitivity is confirmed, press the DISARM button once to exit the setting.

Adjusting Volume

The alarm has 3 adjustable volume levels.

  1. Press and hold the ARM button on the remote for about 6 seconds. The LED will turn off and back on.
  2. Press the BELL button to cycle through the three volume levels.
  3. Once the desired volume is confirmed, press the DISARM button once to exit the setting.

Locating Your Vehicle (Bell Function)

Use the bell function to easily locate your bike or vehicle in a crowded area.

Troubleshooting
