Setup and Assembly

The Lancia Estro e-bike requires some assembly. It is recommended to have this performed by a qualified bicycle mechanic if you are unsure. Refer to the included assembly guide for detailed steps.

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or returns.
  2. Handlebar Installation: Attach the handlebars to the stem, ensuring they are centered and tightened securely.
  3. Front Wheel Installation: Install the front wheel, ensuring the disc brake rotor is correctly aligned with the caliper. Secure the quick-release skewer or axle nuts.
  4. Pedal Installation: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread the pedals into the crank arms. Note that the left pedal has a reverse thread. Tighten firmly.

Pedal Assist System (PAS)

The Lancia Estro features a pedal assist system. As you pedal, the motor provides assistance based on the selected assist level. Use the controls on the handlebars to adjust the level of assistance (typically 1-5). Higher levels provide more motor power.

Gears

Use only the charger provided with your Lancia Estro e-bike. Connect the charger to the battery charging port, then plug it into a standard power outlet. The charging indicator on the charger will show the charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged). Do not overcharge the battery.

Removing the Battery

The 374WH lithium-ion battery is removable for convenient charging or storage. Unlock the battery using the provided key and slide it out of its compartment. Ensure the battery is securely locked in place before riding.

  • Do not expose the battery to water or moisture.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your e-bike.

  • Cleaning: Clean the bike regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid high-pressure washing, especially near electrical components.
  • Lubrication: Lubricate the chain and other moving parts periodically with appropriate bicycle lubricant.
  • Brakes: Check brake pads for wear and replace them when necessary. Ensure brake cables are not frayed and are properly tensioned.
  • Tires: Regularly check tire pressure and inspect for cuts or punctures.
  • Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts and nuts for tightness, especially on critical components like handlebars, wheels, and seat post.
  • Electrical Components: Keep all electrical connections dry and free from corrosion. Do not attempt to service the motor or battery system yourself; consult a qualified technician.
