Operating Instructions
Using the Pressure Lid:
- Add Ingredients: Place your food and the required amount of liquid into the cooker body.
- Fill Level: Do not fill the cooker more than two-thirds full for solid foods, and no more than half full for foods that expand (e.g., rice, lentils).
- Close the Lid: Place the pressure lid onto the cooker body. Engage the Flip-On mechanism by pressing down the blue handle until it locks securely. Ensure the lid is properly seated and sealed.
- Heat Source: Place the cooker on a suitable heat source (gas stove or induction cooktop). Start with high heat until pressure builds.
- Pressure Build-up: Once pressure builds, the pressure indicator will rise. Reduce heat to maintain a steady pressure.
- Pressure Release: After cooking, turn off the heat. Allow the pressure to release naturally or use the quick release method if specified in your recipe (refer to specific recipe guidelines for safe pressure release). Do not force open the lid.
- Open the Lid: Only open the lid once the pressure indicator has dropped completely and no steam is escaping. Use the one-hand operation to unlock and remove the lid.

Using the Glass Lid:
The toughened glass lid allows you to use your pressure cooker as a regular pot for simmering, boiling, or serving. Simply place the glass lid on the cooker body when pressure cooking is not required.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wash the cooker body and lids with warm soapy water after each use. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scourers that can damage the stainless steel finish.
- Gasket Care: Regularly inspect the rubber gasket for wear, cracks, or hardening. Replace the gasket if it shows signs of damage to ensure a proper seal.
- Safety Valve: Ensure the safety valve is clean and free from food particles. Test its functionality periodically by gently pushing the stem.
- Pressure Regulator: Clean the pressure regulator thoroughly to prevent blockages.
- Storage: Store the cooker with the lid inverted or slightly ajar to allow air circulation and prevent odors.
Important: The pressure cooker is NOT dishwasher safe.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Pressure not building up. | Lid not properly closed, damaged gasket, insufficient liquid, clogged vent pipe. | Ensure lid is securely locked. Check and replace gasket if damaged. Add more liquid. Clean vent pipe. |
| Steam leaking from lid. | Worn or improperly seated gasket, food debris on rim, damaged lid. | Reposition or replace gasket. Clean cooker rim and lid. Inspect lid for damage. |
| Lid stuck after cooking. | Pressure not fully released. | Allow cooker to cool completely or run cold water over the lid (avoiding the vent) until all pressure is released. Do not force open. |
| Food burning at the bottom. | Insufficient liquid, heat too high, cooking for too long. | Ensure adequate liquid. Reduce heat once pressure is reached. Adjust cooking time. |
