5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Battery

The BD40K27A-JP comes with an integrated Lithium-Ion battery. Before first use, fully charge the battery.

1. Locate the USB charging port on the driver.
2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the driver's port.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
4. The battery indicator lights will show charging progress. All lights will illuminate steadily when fully charged.

• Position the switch in the center for the OFF/lock position.

6.2 Using the Push-Activated Mechanism

This driver operates without a traditional trigger. Rotation is activated by applying pressure.

1. Ensure the forward/reverse switch is set to the desired direction (forward for tightening, reverse for loosening).
2. Place the screwdriver bit onto the screw head.
