5. Operating Instructions: Basic Lock Picking Technique

Follow these steps to practice basic lock picking with the transparent training locks:

1. Insert the Tension Wrench: Select an appropriate tension wrench and insert it into the bottom of the keyway. Apply light, consistent rotational pressure in the direction the key would turn to unlock. This pressure is crucial for setting the pins.
2. Insert the Pick: Choose a suitable lock pick and insert it into the keyway above the tension wrench. Gently maneuver the pick to reach the pins.
3. Set the Pins: With the pick, gently lift each pin one by one until you feel a slight click or a change in the tension wrench's resistance. This indicates the pin is set. Continue this process for all pins.
4. Open the Lock: Once all pins are set, the tension wrench should turn slightly, and the lock will open. If the lock does not open, release tension and restart the process, paying close attention to the feedback from the pins.
