Setup Instructions

Portable Door Lock Installation

1. Insert the Claw: Open the door slightly. Insert the metal claw of the portable door lock into the door strike plate (the metal plate on the door frame where the latch goes). Ensure it is fully seated.

2. Close the Door: Gently close the door until it is almost shut, allowing the portable lock to align with the door frame.

3. Jam the Moving Rod Down: Slide the black handle of the portable lock onto the metal claw, aligning the hole with the door's latch. Push the handle down firmly to secure the lock in place.

Important Note:

• The portable door lock is only applicable to doors that open inward. It is not suitable for doors that open outwards, sliding doors, double doors, or salt doors.
• The portable lock features two different sized locking holes (0.78 inches and 1 inch) to accommodate various door bolts. Choose the hole that best fits your door's bolt for optimal security.

Door Stop Alarm Setup

1. Install Battery: Open the battery compartment cover on the underside of the door stop alarm. Insert one 9V battery (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the cover securely.
2. Position the Alarm: Place the door stop alarm on the floor directly behind the door you wish to secure. Ensure the non-slip bottom is flat on the floor and the metal pressure plate is facing the door.

Operating Instructions

Using the Portable Door Lock

Once installed as per the setup instructions, the portable door lock physically blocks the door from being opened from the outside. To exit, simply lift the black handle to disengage the lock from the metal claw and remove it. In an emergency, the lock can be removed quickly, even in the dark.

Using the Door Stop Alarm

1. Turn On: Locate the ON/OFF switch on the side of the door stop alarm. Slide the switch to the "ON" position to activate the alarm.

2. Adjust Sensitivity: Use the sensitivity switch (L/M/H) to select the desired level.
   • L (Low): Less sensitive, requires more pressure to trigger.
   • M (Medium): Standard sensitivity.
   • H (High): Most sensitive, triggers with minimal vibration or pressure.

3. Alarm Trigger: If someone attempts to open the door, the pressure from the door will activate the metal plate, triggering the loud 120dB siren. This will alert you and deter potential intruders.
4. Turn Off: To silence the alarm or deactivate the device, slide the ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position.

Maintenance

• Battery Replacement: When the door stop alarm's sound becomes weak or it fails to activate, replace the 9V battery. Always use a fresh, high-quality 9V battery.
• Cleaning: Wipe both devices with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
• Storage: Store the devices in a cool, dry place when not in use.
