1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Artis BT303 Portable Bluetooth Party Speaker. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your speaker. Please read it carefully before use to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your device.

The Artis BT303 is designed to deliver powerful audio with versatile connectivity options, including Bluetooth 5.0, USB, TF Card, and FM radio. It also features a wired microphone input for karaoke and announcements, and TWS (True Wireless Stereo) functionality for pairing two speakers for an enhanced stereo experience.

3.1 Control Panel and Ports

  • Mode Button: Switches between Bluetooth, FM Radio, USB, and TF Card modes.
  • Volume Down / Previous Track: Decreases volume or goes to the previous track.
  • Play/Pause Button: Plays or pauses audio. In FM mode, long press to auto-scan stations.
  • Volume Up / Next Track: Increases volume or goes to the next track.
  • TWS Button: Activates True Wireless Stereo pairing mode.
  • USB Port: For USB flash drive playback.
  • TF Card Slot: For TF (MicroSD) card playback.
  • Mic Input: 6.35mm jack for wired microphone connection.
  • Charging Port: DC 5V input for charging the speaker.
  • Power Switch: Turns the speaker on or off.

3.2 Remote Control

The included remote control provides convenient access to various functions from a distance.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Before first use, fully charge the speaker.
  2. Connect the provided charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

Note: The speaker is equipped with a powerful rechargeable 1500 mAh Lithium Polymer battery.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To power on the speaker, slide the Power Switch to the "ON" position.
  • To power off the speaker, slide the Power Switch to the "OFF" position.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Bluetooth Mode

  1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light and an audible prompt.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
  3. Search for "BT303" in the list of available Bluetooth devices.
  4. Select "BT303" to connect. Once connected, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the LED light will stop flashing.
  5. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.

Bluetooth Range: The speaker supports Bluetooth 5.0 technology with a range of up to 10 meters (33 feet) in open areas.

5.2 FM Radio Mode

  1. Press the "Mode" button repeatedly until you enter FM Radio mode.
  2. Long press the "Play/Pause" button to initiate an automatic scan for FM stations. The speaker will save all found stations.
  3. Use the "Previous Track" and "Next Track" buttons to navigate between saved FM stations.

5.3 USB / TF Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or a TF (MicroSD) card into the TF card slot.
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to USB or TF Card mode and begin playing audio files. If it doesn't, press the "Mode" button to select the correct input.
  3. Use the "Play/Pause", "Previous Track", and "Next Track" buttons to control playback.

5.4 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Mode

TWS mode allows you to pair two Artis BT303 speakers together for a true stereo sound experience, doubling your audio output to 40 Watts.

  1. Ensure both BT303 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), press the "TWS" button. The speaker will emit a sound indicating it's searching for another speaker.
  3. The two speakers will automatically pair with each other. Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation sound.
  4. Now, connect your Bluetooth device to the primary speaker (the one you pressed TWS on). The audio will play in stereo through both speakers.

5.5 Wired Microphone Usage

  1. Connect the wired microphone's plug into the "Mic Input" jack on the speaker's control panel.
  2. Adjust the microphone volume using the speaker's main volume controls or the remote control.
  3. You can use the microphone while playing music from any source (Bluetooth, USB, TF, FM).

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Always power off the speaker before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the speaker.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
  • Avoid getting moisture into any openings.

6.2 Battery Care

  • To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.
  • Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

7. Troubleshooting
