4. Setup Guide
4.1 Hard Drive Installation
The NVR requires a SATA Hard Disk Drive (HDD) for video storage, which is not included in the package. Please purchase a compatible 3.5-inch SATA HDD (up to 10TB) separately.
- Power Off: Ensure the NVR is powered off and disconnected from the power source.
- Open Casing: Carefully remove the screws on the NVR casing to open it.
- Connect HDD: Connect the SATA data cable and power cable from the NVR to the HDD.
- Secure HDD: Use the provided HDD screw set to secure the HDD inside the NVR casing.
- Close Casing: Reattach the NVR casing and secure it with screws.
- Format HDD: After powering on, access the NVR's system settings to format the newly installed HDD. This prepares it for recording.
4.2 Connecting Cameras
The NVR supports up to 8 PoE IP cameras. Connect your cameras to the PoE ports on the rear panel.
- Connect IP Cameras: Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into a PoE port (PoE1-PoE8) on the NVR and the other end into the Ethernet port of your IP camera. The NVR will provide both power and data to the camera.
- Network Connection: Connect the NVR's UPLINK Ethernet port to your router or network switch using an Ethernet cable. This enables remote access and network services.
4.3 Initial Power On and Display Connection
