Setup

Setting Time and Date

1. Unscrew the Crown: Gently unscrew the crown (located at 3 o'clock) counter-clockwise until it is free from the case.
2. Set the Date: Pull the crown out to the first click position. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the date.
3. Set the Time: Pull the crown out to the second click position. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Ensure the AM/PM is correctly set by observing the date change.
4. Screw Down the Crown: Once the time and date are set, push the crown back in and screw it down tightly to ensure water resistance.

Strap Adjustment

The green rubber strap is a 'cut-to-fit' design. This means it can be precisely sized to your wrist. Exercise extreme caution when adjusting the strap, as once cut, it cannot be lengthened.

1. Measure your wrist and determine the desired length.
2. Carefully cut small segments from the end of the strap that attaches to the clasp, one segment at a time, until the desired fit is achieved.
3. Reattach the strap to the clasp securely.

Operating Instructions

Chronograph Function

Your watch features a chronograph for measuring elapsed time.

1. Start: Press the upper pusher (A) to start the chronograph.
2. Stop: Press the upper pusher (A) again to stop the chronograph.
3. Reset: Press the lower pusher (B) to reset the chronograph hands to zero.

Unidirectional Rotating Bezel

The CARBONOX bezel rotates in one direction (counter-clockwise) to prevent accidental changes that could overestimate elapsed time. It is useful for timing events, such as dive times.

1. Rotate the bezel so the zero marker aligns with the minute hand at the start of the event you wish to time.
2. The minute hand will then indicate the elapsed time against the bezel's scale.

Luminox Light Technology (LLT)

Luminox watches feature a self-powered illumination system that provides constant glow for up to 25 years, ensuring optimal readability in all lighting conditions, including complete darkness.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Water Resistance

Your Luminox Pacific Diver Chronograph is water-resistant up to 200 meters (660 feet / 20 ATM). This makes it suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports, but not for saturation diving. Always ensure the crown is fully screwed down before exposing the watch to water.

Battery Life

This watch is powered by a Swiss Quartz RONDA Z60 movement, which includes a date function and provides approximately 43 months of battery life. When the battery needs replacement, it is recommended to have it done by an authorized Luminox service center to maintain water resistance and warranty.

Troubleshooting

• Watch Not Running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch is still not running, the battery may need replacement.
• Date Not Changing: Ensure the time is set correctly, especially the AM/PM cycle. The date typically changes around midnight. If the date changes at noon, you may need to advance the time by 12 hours.
• Water Inside the Watch: If you notice condensation or water inside the watch, immediately take it to an authorized service center. Do not attempt to open the watch yourself.
