4. Setup

4.1. Drone Battery Charging

  1. Locate the drone's rechargeable Li-Po battery.
  2. Connect the USB charging cable to the battery and then to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. Refer to the light's behavior for full charge indication (typically turns off or changes color).
  4. Charging time is approximately 60-85 minutes. Do not overcharge.

4.2. Remote Control Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Insert 3 x AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment securely.

4.3. Unfolding the Drone

  1. Gently unfold the drone's arms until they click into place. Ensure all four arms are fully extended.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Pairing the Drone and Remote Control

  1. Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
  2. Turn on the drone's power switch. The drone's lights will flash.
  3. Turn on the remote control.
  4. Push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then all the way down. The drone's lights will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.

5.2. Basic Flight Controls

The drone features 4-channel control for versatile movement:

  • Left Joystick (Throttle):
    • Push up: Ascend (Fly Up)
    • Push down: Descend (Fly Down)
    • Push left/right: Rotate Left/Right
  • Right Joystick (Direction):

6.1. Taking Photos and Videos

  1. Ensure a Micro SD card (not included) is inserted into the drone's card slot to save media.
  2. During flight, press the dedicated photo button on the remote control to take a picture.
  3. Press the dedicated video button on the remote control to start recording video. Press it again to stop recording.
