4. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed and clean all parts as described in the 'Maintenance and Cleaning' section.

  1. Place the Mixer: Position the mixer on a clean, dry, and stable surface. The suction cups on the base will help secure it.
  2. Tilt the Head: Press the tilt-release button (usually located on the side of the motor unit) and gently lift the motor head until it locks into the tilted position.
  3. Attach the Bowl: Place the stainless steel mixing bowl onto the base, aligning the grooves, and turn it clockwise until it locks securely.
  4. Insert the Attachment: Select the desired attachment (whisk, flat beater, or dough hook). Insert the attachment shaft into the attachment port on the underside of the motor head. Turn and push upwards until it clicks into place.
  5. Lower the Head: Press the tilt-release button again and gently lower the motor head until it locks into the operating position.
  6. Attach the Splash Guard: Slide the splash guard onto the motor head, ensuring it covers the bowl opening.

5. Operating Instructions

The MPM MRK-19 features a powerful 2200W motor (1400W nominal) and a planetary mixing system for thorough and consistent results.

5.1. Speed Control and Pulse Function

The mixer offers 6 speed settings and a Pulse function. The speed dial is located on the side of the motor unit.

  • Speeds 1-6: Rotate the dial clockwise to select a continuous speed from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest).
  • Pulse Function (P): Rotate the dial counter-clockwise to the 'P' position for short bursts of maximum power. This is useful for quickly incorporating ingredients or for final mixing. Release the dial to stop.

5.2. Planetary Mixing Action

The mixer utilizes a planetary mixing action, where the attachment rotates on its own axis while simultaneously orbiting around the inside of the bowl. This ensures all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated, resulting in a homogeneous and lump-free mixture.
