Compatible with SKG V7, MVEFOIT P42B, Wwzzey P42B, Y20GT, AooDen P45 Smart Watches

1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of your Lamshaw Magnetic USB Smart Watch Charger. Please read this guide thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not expose the charger to water or excessive moisture.
  • Avoid extreme temperatures. Do not use or store the charger in very hot or cold environments.
  • Keep the magnetic charging pins clean and free from debris to ensure proper connection.
  • The charger features a built-in short-circuit protection IC to prevent overvoltage and overcurrent. If a short-circuit occurs, the protection IC will automatically cut off the circuit. This safety feature remains active even if the charger is left plugged in after charging is complete.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the charger.
  • Ensure the USB power source is a standard 5V output.

3. Package Contents

  • 1 x Lamshaw Magnetic USB Smart Watch Charging Cable (White)

Note: Smartwatch is not included.

4. Setup and Connection

  1. Connect to Power Source: Insert the USB-A end of the charging cable into a compatible USB power source. This can be a wall charger, power bank, computer USB port, or laptop USB port. Ensure the power source provides a stable 5V output.
  2. Connect to Smart Watch: Align the magnetic charging puck with the charging contacts on the back of your smartwatch. The magnets will automatically attract the charger to the correct position.

5. Operating Instructions (Charging Your Smart Watch)

Once connected, your smartwatch should indicate that it is charging, typically by displaying a charging icon or battery percentage. The magnetic connection ensures a secure and stable charge.

Correct Magnetic Alignment

  • Ensure the magnetic contacts on the charger align perfectly with those on your smartwatch. The magnets are designed to attract when correctly oriented.
  • If the magnets repel, the charger is not correctly aligned, and your device will not charge. Simply flip the magnetic puck to achieve the correct polarity.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the charging cable and magnetic contacts. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the charging cable in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid tightly coiling the cable to prevent damage.
  • Handling: While the cable is designed for durability (tested for over 20,000 bends), avoid excessive bending or pulling, especially near the connectors, to prolong its lifespan.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Smartwatch Not Charging:
    • Ensure the USB-A end is securely plugged into a working power source.
    • Verify that the magnetic charging puck is correctly aligned with your smartwatch's charging contacts. If the magnets repel, flip the puck.
    • Check for any debris or obstructions on the charging contacts of both the cable and the smartwatch.
    • Try a different USB power source (e.g., a different wall adapter or computer port).
  • Slow Charging:
    • Ensure your USB power source provides sufficient power (standard 5V). Some older USB ports may have lower output.
    • Avoid using the smartwatch extensively while it is charging.
  • Charger Overheating:
    • It is normal for the charger to feel slightly warm during use. However, if it becomes excessively hot, immediately disconnect it from the power source and your smartwatch.
    • Check for any visible damage to the cable or connectors.
    • The built-in protection IC should prevent dangerous overheating, but always exercise caution.
