1. Introduction
The Peach Street Speed-Boil Electric Kettle is designed for rapid water heating, ideal for coffee, tea, and other hot beverages. Constructed from durable borosilicate glass and brushed 304 stainless steel, it features a 1.7-liter capacity, 1500 watts of power, and an OTTER controller for efficient performance. Key safety features include automatic shut-off and boil-dry protection.

2. Important Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions carefully before using the kettle. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Always ensure the kettle is placed on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
- Do not immerse the kettle, power base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Do not operate the kettle if the cord or plug is damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
- CAUTION: Do not pour with the lid open. Ensure the lid is securely closed before boiling and pouring to prevent hot water from splashing.
- The kettle features an automatic shut-off and boil-dry protection. Do not attempt to override these safety mechanisms.
- The handle is designed to remain cool to the touch, but exercise caution as the glass body and metal components will become hot during operation.
- Only boil water in this appliance. Do not heat other liquids or food items.
- Do not clean the power base unit with water or any liquids, as this can damage the heating element.
3. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the kettle for any damage.
- Position the Base: Place the 360° rotary power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface near a power outlet. Ensure the cord is neatly stored beneath the base in the designed slot to prevent tangling.
- First Use Cleaning: Before initial use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 1-2 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
4. Operating Instructions
- Fill the Kettle: Press the lid open button to open the lid. Fill the kettle with fresh, cold water. Observe the marked measurements on the glass body. Do not fill below the MIN line (0.6L) or above the MAX line (1.7L).
- Close the Lid: Securely close the lid until it clicks into place.
- Place on Base: Position the kettle onto its power base. The 360° rotary base allows for easy placement from any angle.
- Start Boiling: Flip the power switch located on the handle downwards. The blue LED light will illuminate, indicating that the kettle is heating the water.
- Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically switch off once the water reaches a rolling boil, and the blue LED light will extinguish. The boil-dry protection feature will also turn off the kettle if it detects no water inside.
- Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from its base using the cool-touch handle. Pour the hot water slowly and steadily. The built-in mesh filter in the pouring spout helps prevent scale or loose tea leaves from entering your cup.

5. Maintenance & Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your kettle.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Interior Cleaning (Hand Wash): The kettle is designed for hand washing. For general cleaning, rinse the interior with water. The wide mouth opening allows for effortless refilling and cleaning.
- Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. To descale:
- Fill the kettle with 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for 30 minutes.
- Discard the mixture and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times.
- Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution and follow its instructions.
- Mesh Filter Cleaning: The built-in mesh filter can be removed for cleaning. Rinse it under running water to remove any deposits.
