3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove the speaker and all accessories from the packaging.
- Place the speaker on a stable, flat surface. The NDS-1053 is designed for floor standing use.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the speaker.
3.2 Charging the Speaker
The speaker includes a built-in rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery. Before first use, fully charge the speaker for optimal battery life.
- Connect the UL Power Adapter to the DC IN port on the speaker.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
Press and hold the Power button on the control panel or remote control to turn the speaker ON or OFF.
4.2 Bluetooth Connection
- Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED.
- Enable Bluetooth on your compatible device (smartphone, tablet, laptop).
- Search for "NAXA NDS-1053" in your device's Bluetooth settings and select it to pair.
- Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation tone, and the LED will stop flashing.
True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
To connect two NDS-1053 speakers for a stereo sound experience:
- Ensure both NDS-1053 speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet connected to any device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the TWS button. The speaker will search for another NDS-1053.
- Once connected, both speakers will confirm the TWS pairing.
- Now, connect your Bluetooth device to the primary speaker as described above. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.
- TWS connection works up to 33 feet between speakers.
4.3 FM Radio Operation
- Press the 'MODE' button to switch to FM Radio mode.
- Press the 'PLAY/PAUSE' button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
- Use the 'PREV' and 'NEXT' buttons to navigate between saved stations.
4.4 USB/MicroSD Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive or MicroSD card into the respective port.
