4. Setup and Installation
Professional installation is recommended. Ensure the vehicle's power is disconnected before beginning installation. Refer to the detailed wiring diagram and follow the steps below for proper setup.
4.1 Installation Steps
- Unpack the decorative frame from the original car dashboard.
- Unpack the original car panel and unplug the 4P wire.
- Remove the original car CD player and the original car small screen.
- Disconnect the original car audio cable and the original car AUX steering wheel plug cable.
- Connect the original car power speaker plug wire to the CUSP power adapter cable.
- Perform wiring with the original car harness and connect the host tail cable receiver interface line.
- Connect the host air conditioning bus interface line.
- If needed, insert the OBD cable into the original car OBD port. Note: The OBD cable is only for displaying air conditioning information; it is not required for basic operation.
- After installation, verify all connections and test the unit.
