4. Setup and Installation

4.1 General Installation Notes

  • This unit is designed for cars with a single DIN radio opening size (188 x 58 mm standard). Please verify your car's radio opening size before installation.
  • Some vehicles may require a special wire harness for complete installation.

4.2 Wiring Diagram

4.3 Backup Camera Wiring

Follow these steps to connect the rear view camera:

  1. Power Cable: Connect the red wire to the positive reversing light and the black wire to the negative reversing light.
  2. RCA Cable: Insert the yellow RCA connector into the 'CAM-IN' port (yellow) on the back of the radio unit.
  3. Ensure the reverse sensing or reverse (+) wire connection (typically the pink wire of the power wire harness labeled 'back') is securely connected to the positive wire of the reversing light.

Note 1: The short red wires next to the RCA port do not require connection in this wiring setup.

Note 2: When the device is in parking mode, other functions will temporarily cease operation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Controls

The front panel features various buttons and ports for control:

  • MIC: External microphone input.
  • ◀◀ (Previous Song): Navigate to the previous track.
  • ►► (Next Song): Navigate to the next track.
  • Volume Control Knob: Adjust audio volume.
  • IR: Infrared receiver for remote control.
  • RES: Reset button.
  • USB: USB 2.0 port for media playback and phone connection.
  • TF: TF (MicroSD) card slot for media playback.
  • AUX: Auxiliary audio input.
  • ↶ (Return): Go back to the previous screen or menu.
  • Screen Rotation Angle: Adjust the screen's viewing angle.
  • Open the Screen: Extend the motorized screen.
  • Turn off the Screen: Retract the motorized screen.

5.2 Motorized Screen Operation

Press the designated button on the front panel to extend or retract the 7-inch motorized screen. The screen angle can be adjusted for optimal viewing.

5.3 Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Connect your iOS or Android phone via a USB cable to enable Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. This allows you to access phone functions such as navigation, music, calls, and messages directly on the stereo's screen.

5.4 Mirror Link

For iOS and Android phones, connect your device via USB to use the Mirror Link function. This feature mirrors your phone's screen onto the car stereo display, allowing you to view apps, navigation, or videos from your phone.

5.5 Bluetooth Hands-free and Music Streaming

The unit features built-in Bluetooth 4.0 for hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming. Pair your smartphone with the stereo to make and receive calls safely while driving, and enjoy your music wirelessly.

5.6 FM Radio

Access the FM radio function to listen to local stations. The unit supports 18 preset stations and offers automatic scanning for convenience.

5.7 Media Playback (AUX/USB/TF Card)

The car stereo supports auxiliary audio input, USB, and TF card inputs. Connect MP3 players, GPS devices, or other audio sources via AUX, or insert a USB drive or TF card for audio and video playback.

5.8 Steering Wheel Control (SWC)

If your vehicle supports Steering Wheel Control, you can connect it to the stereo to manage essential functions like volume, track changes, and calls without taking your hands off the wheel.

The included 12 LED backup camera automatically displays a clear reversing image on the screen when the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear. It features night vision, a 170-degree viewing angle, and is waterproof for reliable performance.

The car stereo supports connection to an external car driving recorder (DVR), which must be purchased separately. This allows for recording and playback of driving footage.

6. Maintenance

  • Bluetooth Connection Issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the stereo and your phone. Delete previous pairings and try reconnecting.
  • CarPlay/Android Auto Not Working: Ensure your USB cable is functional and connected securely. Verify your phone's operating system is compatible.
  • Backup Camera Not Displaying: Check the camera's power and RCA connections. Ensure the reverse sensing wire is correctly connected to the reverse light.
