Setup and Installation

Unpacking and Initial Placement:

  1. Remove all packaging materials, including foam and tape.
  2. Inspect the wine cooler for any shipping damage. Report any damage immediately to the retailer.
  3. Place the unit on a flat, stable surface capable of supporting its weight when fully loaded.
  4. Allow the appliance to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant fluids to settle, preventing potential compressor issues.

Location Requirements:

  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. The front vent design allows for both freestanding and built-in installation.
  • Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or near heat sources (e.g., oven, radiator).
  • The ambient room temperature should be stable and within a reasonable range to ensure efficient operation.
  • Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded and matches the voltage requirements of the appliance (115V/60Hz).

Door Reversal:

The door is factory-set to open from the left. If your space requires the door to open from the right, it can be reversed. This process involves rotating the door 180 degrees and re-anchoring it on the opposite side. Please note that reversing the door may affect the functionality of the door lock, as the latch may no longer align with the lock mechanism.

Shelf Removal and Adjustment:

The wine cooler features adjustable wooden shelves. To remove or adjust a shelf, locate the safety buckle on the shelf rail. Press the buckle to release the shelf and slide it out. Reinsert by aligning the shelf with the rails and pushing until it clicks into place.
